A licensed esthetician, proud Latina business owner, and Vallejo native, Samantha has run S.B Esthetics on Tennessee Street for seven years. She opened the studio to fill a gap she kept seeing — a place where clients of every background feel safe, seen, and fully supported, with real expertise in melanin-rich skin. To her, skincare is about healing, building confidence, and helping people feel good in their own skin. Outside the studio she is a dog mom to a bulldog named Alice, and spends her time cooking, travelling, at Lagree classes, and with her nieces and nephews.

“Hello, my name is Maji and I love all things skincare.” That love grew out of personal experience — struggling with acne, and watching a sibling struggle too. Becoming an esthetician was a way to go deeper into skin conditions and how to actually treat them. The approach here is holistic: “I believe professional skincare and treatments combined with a holistic approach is the best way to get long-lasting results,” with lifestyle changes supporting the work done in the treatment room. Outside the studio, Maji runs a cosmetics business and is usually with family or trying somewhere new to eat.
