FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Straight answers. If yours is not here, just ask.

I have deeper skin. Are peels safe for me?

Yes — with the right peel and the right esthetician. Melanin-rich skin can absolutely be resurfaced safely; the risk comes from using too strong a formula, too fast, without proper prep. That is exactly what this studio specializes in. We start conservatively, watch how your skin responds, and build from there.

How many sessions until I see my dark spots fade?

Most people notice a difference after two to three treatments, with meaningful change around four to six. Pigment took time to form and it takes time to lift. Anyone promising one-visit results is selling you something.

What is dermaplaning, and will my hair grow back thicker?

It is a sterile blade gently removing dead skin and fine vellus hair. And no — that myth will not die, but it is still a myth. Hair grows back exactly the same texture it was before. The blunt tip can feel different for a few days, that is all.

Do I need to fill out the intake form before my first visit?

Please do. It takes about three minutes and it tells us about allergies, medications, and past reactions before we treat you. You can complete it right here on the site — no paper, no clipboard.

Can I split my payment?

Yes. Afterpay is available at checkout on services, packages, and gift cards, so you can break a larger purchase into smaller payments.

Do packages expire?

Your prepaid sessions stay on your account. We will keep you on a schedule that actually gets results, but you will not lose sessions because life got busy.

What if I need to cancel?

Give us 24 hours notice and there is no charge. Inside that window a fee may apply — see the policies page for the details.

I am pregnant. What can I still get done?

Plenty — facials, dermaplaning, and most waxing are generally fine. Certain peel ingredients and treatments are not. Tell us when you book and we will build something safe for you.

How should I prep for my appointment?

Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids about five days out, skip the sun and self-tanner for two weeks, and come with clean skin if you can. Full details are on the policies page.

Do you take walk-ins?

Booking ahead is strongly recommended — the studio is small and slots fill up. If you are hoping for same-day, call and we will tell you honestly what is open.
